ski COACHING PROGRAM GUIDE (Ski PROGRAMS ARE NOW SOLD OUT, INQUIRE FOR WAITLIST)
Our Freestyle Ski Programs, are designed to fit in with the Canadian Freestyle Ski system and provide a pathway for Ontario based Skiers to either qualify for the Provincial Freestyle Ski team which is the pathway to the Next Gen and National Teams through a competitive system. Our programs are sanctioned and approved by Freestyle Ski Ontario and Freestyle Skiing Canada, who are the governing sport bodies. Our coaches are hihgly cetrified within each of those systems.
Drawing on our 18 years of experience in excellence with our World renowned Snowboard programs, we have a progressive system in place to develop local skiers with talent, into the best Skiers in Ontario and prepare them for real mountains and the opportunities that await them there. Success leaves clues and we have more than our fair share to draw from over the years with multiple World Tour Champions and Olympians.
Our programs operate out of the local freestyle mecca of Mt. St. Louis-Moonstone, in Coldwater just north of Barrie in Southern Ontario. Athletes learn to build on the foundations they started on in either a Park Labs or Private Club program and add in technical skills in all aspects as they improve and develop alongside others in a team based environment.

BEGINNERS, WHERE TO START - PARK LABS
If you are a parent of young beginner Freestyle Skier, you are best to look into our affiliated beginner program provider Park Labs. Park Labs caters to young Skiers who are new to the terrain park and are learning the foundational freestyle skills to prepare them for our programs. Every year the best Park Labs participants will have primary access to the available open spots on the team. The Park Labs environment is very low pressure and is based on character collection, as skills are learned over the season. Click on any image below to head to the Park Labs website.
Intermediate/advanced Freestyle Ski Program Options - the senders
After a season or two on Park Labs, you should now have a solid Skiing foundation under your belt. You will have some experience in the Terrain Park, competed in your first events and you're ready to take the next step up in Terrain Park feature size, work on some more technical manoeuvres and inverts and join The Senders.
When you get to The Senders, we will be building a lot of skills on top of the foundation learned through Park Labs. If you are missing this foundation, your progress will be a lot slower. You should be able to know how to generate pop, quite comfortably hit small jumps and do some basic spins like 180s and 360s although you may be far from perfect at doing so. You should also be able to ski boxes, rails that are straight entry and be ready to ride the Intermediate/Advanced Terrain Park.

Program descriptions
Full Program - Friday/Saturday/Sunday - Mid December to Mid March
Our original and longest running, Champion producing program. The highest ranked team members nationally on our programs all participate in a minimum of at least 3 days per week of training. This program features Friday, Saturday and Sunday training, with 39 days over the season including 3 Friday event practice days, with a break mid-season for Family day weekend. There are 3 Timber Tour series contests where coaching is included and attendance is mandatory for team members.
Weekend Competitive Program Option - Saturday/Sunday - Mid December to Mid March
Suitable for those who have difficulty taking any time away from educational commitments. Our weekend program provides 29 days of on-snow training through the Winter Season, which includes 3 Friday event practice days, with a break mid-season for Family day weekend. There are 3 Timber Tour series contests where coaching is included and attendance is mandatory for team members.
Weekday Training - Wednesday/Thursday or Friday
We have the option to train for single group of day sessions over the season during Weekdays on Thursdays and most Fridays (Friday calendar dependant on yearly event schedule). Weekdays feature considerably less traffic on the hill, allowing for more laps and better quality training. This is the only non-competitive option that we can offer, as there is no training on dates that conflict with events.
